I subscribed to receive Geeks to Go emails a while back, but, I only just 'joined' today after opening an email I received from you on 05/26/10. The message contained instuctions which seemed bazaar -- but....heck! It's YOU GUYS! -- so, I 'clicked' to follow the giant hot-pink link in the e-mail in an attempt to comply with request.
The 'click' took me straight to your site, but, I didn't see a place on page providing an option to fulfill directions contained in the e-mail -- which made no sense to begin with.
Then I noticed I'd received a similar message on 05/25/10. That one references different number/letter 'strings'. Again, I clicked on the giant, hot-pink link, and, met the same result as 05/26 message.
I C'd & P'd both messages below. The top one is the message delivered 05/25/10, followed by message received 05/26/10.
Wuts up dat?? Do you know?? Is this legit?? If so,
what is it you want??? If not legit, then, what??? .........
This is a brand new laptop! Please.......get back to me ASAP.I know one of the guys who advises on Geeks to Go. I thought he, maybe, spotted my name & decided to prank me?? But, I think, he takes computers as seriously as he would take fire ants in his pants. Still ... he repaired a BIG problem for me about 10 months ago. He knows a thing like this would make me
!!! So, .... if he's pranking me ..... would you let me know? You wouldn't want me to miss the chance to arrange a delivery of fire ants for Sparky's pants! Thanks! ...... (scroll down...)
