Try reloading the camera driver files

I am signing of for tonight.
You could uninstall the quickcam software and keep just the driver.
Ensure the camera is not activated at startup. ie: Logitech quickcam services do not appear on the startup tab in msconfig.
It maybe a problem with the camera running of available ram, which you can check in the post I made earlier on Task Manager - on the Mem sub tab., where you checked CPU, with the camera running of course.
Best of luck, I will pick the thread up tonight if necessary.

Pleased it worked and your message of thanks is appreciated.
You would be amazed at how many people post a problem and then do not even bother to post the result of the advice or say thks.
