Hello all you wonderful Geeks!

I upgraded to IE 8 and the screen isn't the usual 1000 x 640. I need to be able to see the web pages I'm designing for my web site.

Can one of you give me the steps to take to change the screen size back to its normal viewing like IE 7 was? I've read a little bit and I see it's supposed to be that size.

Don't know why it's off.

Thanks! Alias775 :)

Try this:
  • Click here to open a new 1000x640 browser window.

  • Close all your other open browser windows.

  • While holding down the [Ctrl] key, click the [X] in the top right corner of the 1000x640 browser window.
When you re-open your browser now, it should remember the last width&height setting of 1000x640.
