When you check in Device manager do you see a yellow question mark beside your Graphic adapter.

Do you have the latest drivers for your graphic card?

What are the DLL files missing.

Is your graphics integrated or you have an add in card (AGP or PCI-X)

If an addin does you card have a fan on it and is it turning.

Bad ram might also be a cause of your problems so if your graphic cards looks to be good maybe you should check your ram

I have a agp geforce fx 5500 and a 768RAM and also the fan is working but it was so noisy sometimes...
I think the problem is the driver. i manage to fix the missing the dll files by installing the latest driver and as of now it is running good..

I just want to ask if it is compatible to install a nvidia gefoce 9400Gt in my MOBO? is there any requirements?

by the way thanks for your reply...

If your motherboard has a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot, you should be good to go.

go here for a list of AGP video cards that your mobo supports...your mobo only supports a 4X graphics card
what games are you wanting to play...
