Hello all ! My lack of knowledge a rays in this area which has brought me to you guys. I'm sure you guys have heard this a thousand and one times before, so let me add on to that if I can, starting with the log of my last blue screen error as follows. Now this doesn't happen everyday, more like once every two weeks. Sometimes when it does freeze up, it won't even blue screen at all, but just freeze up, This has been the first ever piece of information that I have received regarding the fault in view. Reason being this has been pushing on for the best past of three months on and off. Normally when it does freeze a blues screen appears and gives me a STOP: 0X0000007E error, which makes a result of shutting down manually. Apart from that my computer is free from Malware and Viruses and gets defragged on a weekly basis. I hope somebody can pin point what situation I am looking at right now. thank you for your time. Thank you :)

Hi,

Make sure that all the driver softwares in your machine are updated. check if you get any yellow question marks or Yellow triangle with black excliamatory marks in device manager. You can use help of "driver max" application to update the missing drivers in your machine.

Thank you

Hi Isha..

Thank you for replying. I will update the display drivers and see how we stand there.. I turned the computer on this morning and soon afterwards it froze 15/20 minutes, no bluescreens, just froze dead in it's tracks... which forced me to shut it down manually once more..I haven't updated the display drivers in some time, because the version of Photoshop that I have,CS3, for reason it mixes the whites to gray, when I do update the display drivers. So in actual fact the drivers have not been updated for a good 14 months, Id say..I'll see what happens from here. Thank you again :) Regardless the out come, I will keep this thread updated.

(Oh btw, I just wanted to add, that there was no yellow question marks or yellow triangles with black exclamatory marks in device manager to begin with)
