Hi!

I was wondering if it is possible to install a program or something to allow me to do sort of a virtual OS kinda thing with windows 95.

I have the 95 install disk and i want to have xp running but still be able to use windows 95 and see my task bar..etc

Thanks,

If you have a licence for Windows 95...

Microsoft Virtual PC 2007:
http://www.microsoft...;displaylang=en

Note limitations of Windows 95: No USB support, no hard drives bigger than 2Gb, nothing works with it any longer, painful network connectivity support (can be done, if you're patient), and probably some other things.

You could try running them in compatibility mode as well.

You could try running them in compatibility mode as well.

How often has compatibility mode actually done something useful to allow you to run games from the windows 9x era?
