I
:tazz:
My computer is slowly fading away.....Find below it's signs and symptoms in order of occurance:

-When logging onto my computer it would try to log inself into the internet (I do not have it set up to do that)

-low on virtual memory notices popping up (I did not load any new software)

-my wall paper disapeared and was replaced with a blue screen..my desktop icons were present and so was a warning message that I had a "Trojan Smith html" I can't recall the exact wording..

-4th and final sign is happening as of this morning where as my entire screen is black and the only thing I am able to pull up is my Windows task manager. I am, however, able to access all my apps through this task manager as far as I can tell.

I have followed all of your posted steps to get rid of this or these trojans I should say...Quite a few were detected and delted (maybe about 60 or even more I don't recall them all), but even after deleting and rebooting I'm still getting my lovely black screen OF DEATH!!!

Find below my Hijack this log file......Please help!!!!!

Best Regards,
Michele ;)

PS I have thought of re-installing my OS. I am running Win XP, but unfortuatly after mutiple moves I have lost the XP home CD that came with my PC..By the way I don't know if this makes a difference or not, but my PC is a dell and was bought about 4 to 4 1/2 years ago...
