So when i try to install something, it sometimes wont run after i finished downloading it. ( like go to download page, the download stuff starts, the Downloads thing on Firefox shows ( the thing that shows if you press Ctrl - J), and then after it finishes, i click run, nothing happens.) i run Windows Vista, Laptop

Check the laptop's RAM with 'memtest' first, as this could be caused by faulty RAM module. It happened to me.
New RAM fixed it in my case, though bear in mind that almost every PC problem can have more than one cause.
