Hi

I have just got rid of a several viruses on my computer but now the pointer on my screen has disappeared.

I have an Acer TravelMate 7520 laptop which has a touch pad.

I have tried restoring the original settings and drivers but this hasn't worked.

The mouse properties say:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I have tried downloading a new driver from the synaptics website but the 'link appears to be broken' screen just pops up.

Can you help me get my mouse back?

Thank You
