Internet connection desktop and laptop

Hello all. This is my first post and this site looks great.
I have a customer who's desktop is hard wired to his router and his laptop is connected wireless. The issue is the desktop will not connect to the internet but the laptop will through wireless. I have instructed him to connect the laptop directly to the cable and see if it will connect.
I did have the desktop at my office and was able to connect through my router.

Any ideas of what else to look for?
