I found this folder in one of my external drives after IE8 was trying to install to it instead of the hard drive. I disconnected the drive, installed IE8, and everything went fine. Now I can't delete the folder which has 2 subfolders titled i386 and amd64. I get the message

Cannot delete filterpipelineprintproc.dll Access is denied.

I guess it's from a Windows update maybe? I don't need to delete it but I'd like it gone. Any suggestions?

I believe, this is a leftover from some .NET Framework installation.
Try to take ownership of that file: http://www.winxptuto...m/ownership.htm
Then, try to delete it.
