I have a free website through Google Sites. I am trying to make link banners for my site. At least I think that is what they are called. I have the banners with the html code under it that a person needs to put on their site to make one of my banners appear on their site, linking back to my site. I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

When I click on the banners, they take me to the home page of my site. I need to know if the coding will work on other people's sites before I invite a bunch of people to do a link exchange. Can anyone tell me if it's right, or test them for me? Here are the codes:

<div style="display: block; text-align: left;"><a href="http://sites.google....ckyladies/home" imageanchor="1"><img src="http://sites.google.... Banner sm.jpg" border="0"></a><br>

<div style="display: block; text-align: left;"><a href="http://sites.google....ckyladies/home" imageanchor="1"><img src="http://sites.google....Banner xsm.jpg" border="0"></a></div>

<div style="display: block; text-align: left;"><a href="http://sites.google....ckyladies/home" imageanchor="1"><img src="http://sites.google.... Link 5 sm.jpg" border="0"></a></div>

<div style="display: block; text-align: left;"><a href="http://sites.google....ckyladies/home" imageanchor="1"><img src="/site/kentuckyladies/home/links/Ladies%20in%20the%20Clouds%203.jpg" border="0"></a></div>

Please use the code tags when inserting code. You would be better off using visibility: hidden; instead of display: block; . The latter removes the object from the document flow and may interrupt the page layout. Use of an external CSS file would also be better to use instead of inline CSS.

I wouldn't use an external stylesheet. I wouldn't include someone else's banner if I have to also include their stylesheet.
