With a 714 error code, reinstalling Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is the recommended "way to go". Go to Programs and Features and remove it from there. Restart your system. Then download and run their clean-up utility: mbam-clean.exe. You'll be asked to restart. Do so.
Just prior to reinstalling (below link) MBAM, temporarily disable your A/V. (Don't forget to re-enable your A/V, when the process is complete) It should eliminate the error code and allow you to scan.
