I want to take the current OS (lindows 4.5) off my comp and put Windows on. I have the disk for windows 98 and XP Pro, what do I do? I'd also be interested in your thought on the Lindows OS vs. the Windows OS. And my screen is very dark, and i cant find the settings to brighten it up in this OS.

Well, if there isn't a Unistall command, the easiest thing to do in my opinion would be to back up all the stuff you want and format that partition then proceed to install.

No, the makers of Lindows simply changed the names to "Linspire" I believe.
Yes, here it is:

Microsoft, Lindows Make a Deal

Microsoft will pay $20 million to end legal battle, while Lindows will become Linspire.
