My Windows XP home computer has been slow. I ran both a Mcafee virus and a Microsoft spyware scan and came up with nothing. My CPU usage is always 100%. I ran a scan with hijack this and the log is listed below. Thanks

Hi,

Please save HJT in its own folder (i.e. C:\HJT) to ensure backup issues incase you remove a file that may malfunction your system.

First you have the NewDotNet infection.

Remove NewDotNet:

To remove click on Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs And Remove

NewDotNet

(Note) Sometimes it is complicating removing NewDotNet if you cant uninstall it then go to this site for removal instructions. http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html

Second please opentask manager (Right Click on your system tray and select Task Manager) and select process. We would like to know what running process is taking so much Processor. (The Process with high MEM USEAGE is most likely the one)

After that please post a fresh log of HJT in the same thread thank you.
