follow instruction before u install
just install driver.. install.exe
but is is not recommend in every pc.... only some of them are missing the driver call install.exe..
important:
if u want to boot ur pc press f12 and select cd and every instruction will apper on the screen...
dont do wrong in beginning allright
press f12 to boot ...

so i got wim.exe and now i don't no what do do with it. How do i install the porgrm (instal.exe) because i want to reformat my computer from xp to vista. I put in the cd but nmothing pops up. So i think i need the install file. If anyone knows how to get it please write below. Also can you please teach me what to do with the wim file.

What are you trying to do?
If you want Vista on the machine, all you do is put the Vista DVD in. You don't need to download anything.

Maybe trying to create a WIM image? OP, as Neil said, please clarify.

oh mybad if i wasn't clear, i just want to know how to get install.wim because when i boot my cd it says missing file install.wim.

Probably a bad disk, especially if its a copied disk and there are errors reading .wim files
