I have a PC with two drives, my Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 SATA-II 500gig has Win 7 and the WD 250gig had XP.
After serious problems with my XP drive I decided to reformat with Win 7 which worked fine.
My question is can I use raid to turn both drives into one.
I read that you need to have both drives the same make, model and size which my be difficult as the Hitachi one is unavailable.
Although my PC is custom built I have never used raid so any advice will be very welcome.
