Computer keeps freezing and won't start up!

Hey guys,

My computer kept freezing earlier today and I had to restart it probably about five times. Whenever I would get on a website it'd be okay for a few minutes and then freeze. Finally I left it off for about two hours and just tried to turn it back on but it kept freezing, again! I was able to start it up in safe mode and that's how I got on but I need help! How can I resolve this?
