DSSAgent within game

I don't know if there's a way to help, but I am having an issue with the DSSAgent.exe program.

I'm attempting to install a game on my computer from Broderbund (whose games have the DSSAgent file on their disks), and the installation keeps canceling. After going through most of the installation, including unchecking an option to use their program which holds the DSSAgent file (Brodcast), the copying of files begins.

When it gets to 20%, a pop up box appears saying:

Severe:

Cannot open input source
Current file: DSSAgent.exe

Because of this, the game won't install, though DSSAgent doesn't get on the computer either. I can see the section of the disk that is on while viewing all the files in the D drive (D:\Install\BRODCAST\DSSAGENT.EXE).

Is it possible for me to install the game in any way?
