XP Pro repair

Running Xp pro Sp2. Ran repair like I have a handfull of times. Get Entry point GetIUMS not found in MSDART.DLL. I've found the info on how to replace the file but can't get out of the setup routine. So even if I wanted to reformat it sticks on this error and stops.
