Universal program problem

So I opened my ports 80 and 53, and right after, things like the ITunes Store and other programs that require an internet connection can't connect or work. This really has been bugging me for a while. Can someone please help me?

I did allow an exception in the fire wall for ITunes and other things, but it didn't help.
