Windows 7 64-bit
Motherboard
EVGA nForce 750i SLI (Socket 775)
BIOS
Brand Phoenix Technologies, LTD
Version 6.00 PG

I get message "Floppy Disk(s) Fail (40)" whenever I boot up my computer even though I have no floppy drive. This happened after I set my BIOS to default and now I can't find the option to disable it.

You need to go into your bios and there should be two steps you need to do.
  • Disable any floppy drive you have in your bios
  • Disable floppy drive seek

When done make sure to click F10 to Save and Exit and then Y to Verify Save and Exit.
Your system should then reboot and there should be no floppy drive error.
Please let us know if this resolves your issue.
