Need to update BIOS but do not know how. I can not load Windows XP on a formatted 500 G hard drive. Thought I would upgrade BIOS and see if that helps.

Identify your mother board, go to their website, find the latest update for it. Carefully follow their instructions. Read them and make sure you completely understand them before doing anything. If you have more questions post back with your mother board info, someone here will help you.
