Acer laptop not booting

Hello im new to geekstogo.The problem is that I have a laptop Acer aspire 4730z and it is not booting up.When I start it the screen just stays black and the lights that show the hard drive is workin stay off(sometimes they blink).I gave it to a computer specialist but even he cant fix it.Please help me,i dont know wat to do:confused:.

I don't think much of your "computer specialist"!

Try pressing and holding down 'Alt + F10' together as soon as you turn on on the laptop (or it may be you need to do it straight after the Acer splash-screen has loaded). This should open the Acer Recovery program. It will restore the original Windows installation from a hidden partition on the hard disk (provided that partition is still intact).
