right ok, i'm working with a Toshiba Satellite L300-30D, When i boot up the laptop I have 2 options:

Launch Startup Repair
Start Windows Normally

There was problems before which has lead to the repair option, if I select this, I get the windows is loading files bar.. which goes onto the load bar with Microsoft Corp underneath it (no windows logo) this goes on for about 3 secs and I get a blue screen "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" STOP: 0x00008086 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)- I also get this if i try safe mode

If I start windows normally I just get the same load up screen which goes for about 10 mins until a get another blue screen which flashes up and off and shuts down the laptop.

I would appreciate any help with this

Thanks
Faye
