I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled XP on my Thinkpad T42 laptop. I have the installation cd.

I no longer have wifi capabilities, so I am assuming it is a driver issue. I am also assuming this is controlled by the network controller. In device manager there is a yellow question mark and exclamation point by network controller. When I try to update the driver using the installation CD it says hardware was not installed because wizard cannot find the necessary software.

The drive does not appear to be on the installation CD.

What can I do?
