Windows Media Player vs i-Tunes

Please advise what software I should install. i-Tunes or Windows Media Player or both and which version of the software you would recommend. I do not own an i-Pod or plan to buy songs on line. Will use software to download owned CD's into MP 3 format for playback through Netgear MP-101 and to burn CD's

Your advise greatly appreciated!

Makes no difference either way, you've already got Media Player and iTunes is a free download.
