Over the last two weeks, I have experienced worsening unwanted remote control of my notebook computer. I have experienced the following problems:

My shared documents mysteriously showed up as shared with network users when I've never done that.
My installation of Macromedia Dreamweaver often indicates that I am already running the program, though I have no other instances of it running on my system.
If I get into Dreamweaver, it behaves as if I am continually pressing the enter button and won't stop until I shut down the program.
It does not permit me to access microsoft.com.
I am now missing a component of Norton AntiVirus (corporate edition) and thus there are several files incl. compressed files that Norton skips.
Sometimes scheduled Norton AntiVirus scans are aborted without my intervention.
On startup, I get messages that Norton Antivirus real-time protection is disabled and that Windows firewall is disabled.

I have run Adaware, Spybot, Ewido Security Suite full scans which found only tracking cookies and TDS-3 mutex memory scan. Norton Antivirus (probably corrupted) finds no viruses and an online scan found no viruses. I'm not sure what else to do at this point. BTW, I have Norton corporate edition 7 and am waiting for a reinstall of it, but have been told that may take two to three weeks, before our university IT program gets to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My hijackthis.log is below
