Hi Who makes the best cpu in the $ 500. range. My most demanding program is Photo shop. I want to be able to run the 64 bit verson.

Almost imposible to answer. All major brands are very good but best is subjective.

I reccomend you read this aricle, > http://www.hardwares...Are-Wrong/410/5 expecially page 7 which gives a list of sites that do ;proper; reviews.

you need to decide what size unit you require and then research brands.

Who makes the best psu in the $ 500. range.

A "PSU" is a Power Supply Unit. It is the component that supplies power to the other components in a computer.
