I want to first only use this really for running Linux applications and effects flawlessly. And later be upgradeable to partition my hard-drive and run Windows 7 on here to play games. My main motive in making this was making the computer upgradeable. So I Have something to use now and can upgrade into a gaming machine within the next 6 months. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

My main concern is compatibility. And if you think I can get cheaper parts or better ideas let me know! Thanks alot!

I'm no expert on Linux, but it will run windows seven. However, I would suggest buying more RAM if you want a gaming PC, Win 7 will run smoothly with 2GB, but I would definitely suggest more. Hope this helped :)
