Hi everyone, this is my first post here. So I've browsed through the other topics and attached what seems to be the needed information. Please let me know If I can give anything else.

I've recently performed a clean install of Windows 7 with a copy that I bought through my University. However, since installation I've been experienceing constant and regular crashes and blue screens. These can happen at any time, but seem to happen more frequently when I'm downloading large documents.

I've run memtest over night (12 hours) with no errors, so I'm fairly sure that's not the problem. I've also attempted to update all of my drivers, but may not have gotten all of them.

I've attached a rar file containing all of my dmp files and a copy of my belarc advisor file which should contain all of my computer specs (I hope).

Anyway as I said earlier, any advice you can give would be great. And I'll be happy to provide any more info, to the best of my ability.

Clean installation is always preferred method to upgrade your computer, but let's see...

Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Ok, so I've modified my uploaded spec file, so the entire internet can no longer see my windows 7 key (I'm an idiot).

Also I've followed Broni's instructions and pasted the log below.

Your BSOD report show big variety of files being at fault, so we don't have any obvious suspect.
Please, explain this:

I've also attempted to update all of my drivers, but may not have gotten all of them.

Do you have any errors in Device Manager?
What Windows version was previously installed on your computer?
What's your computer brand and model?

Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

When I performed my clean install of Windows 7 and began getting crashes, I updated most of my drivers on the recommendation of some other posts that I found.

In response to your other questions

No errors in Device Manager
XP was my previous OS.
My computer doesn;t have a brand, I built it myself.

computer info:
- AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz, 2gb of RAM
- I have two hard drives:
- one 500gb WD on which Windows 7 is installed. This has 430gb free
- one 1.5tb Seagate which acts as my storage drive. This has 950 gb free
- I have AVAST, free version installed.

I hope I've helped....

...and Windows firewall, I assume?
Was the computer physically connected to the internet while you're performing Windows installation.

As I said before with that kind of variety of errors, we have various possible culprits, so you'll have eliminate them one by one (listed not in particular order):
1. Bad installation (bad Windows DVD, hardware issue)
2. An infection (less likely, since it's new installation, but possible)
3. RAM issue (since you ran RAM test....do you have one 2GB RAM stick, or 2x1GB? If the latter, try to run the computer on one RAM stick for a day, or so and see, if BSODs will occur)
4. Hard drive issue
Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech....ay.cfm?ttid=287 (or http://www.bleepingc...ive diagnostic)
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD (select "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, unfortunately, you're out of luck, because Toshiba doesn't provide any diagnostic tool.
