I am trying to install iTunes on my new laptop with Windows 7 and I keep getting this message:
"Error writing to file: C:\Program Files(x86)\iTunes\Mozilla Plugins\npitunes.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory."
I went to that folder and it is empty, and I am logged in as an Administrator. I am usually good with computers but I just don't have any clue what this means or how to fix it. I just was iTunes. Please help. Thanks

If you have Windows 7 64-bit (I'm not saying you do) make sure you are installing the 64-bit version of iTunes which is here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1047

Try right clicking the installer icon and choosing "Run as Administrator". This should assure the installer package has the correct permissions.
