Outlook Express: Message Loss

I recently removed my identity from Outlook Express and all the messages appear to have been deleted with it. I want to know if it is possible to restore these messages if I have not backed up a file previously? My wanadoo mail account does not keep a copy of the messages it sends to Oulook Express, so the only place they could be stored is on my computer hard drive (i think/hope)

Any ideas?

Howdy:

OE uses .dbx extensions.. Do a search on your system for *.dbx If the missing folders are there, this will find them..

If the search comes up empty, then you are out of luck!!
