Can someone please tell me how I set an unnumbered footnote in Word 2007?

Click on the "Insert" tab at the top. Click the footer icon, and click "Edit Footer".

Simply typing anything in there will apply it as a footnote to all pages. It doesn't have to be the number of the page, or anything like that.
