I'm working on a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2131 Laptop. When I turn it on all I get is a black screen, no bios splash screen. All of the led lights come on except the far right one next to the HD symbol. I have taken it apart and everything is seated properly. I tried to reset the bios with PAD500. There's no C88 to try and jump to reset. The fan comes on and the CD drive spins a disk. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the hard drive "busy" light is not coming on it's an indication that either the drive or a component it relies on has failed.
