Available size in C:\ drive gradually decreasing. NO idea what is eating so much memory. Can't install ComboFix.
I wish I could delete some files but I have deleted all possible files that a normal person could like, Programmes, FIles, Temporary Internet files etc. But the bulk of my C: drive space seems to be taken by C:\Windows
I have checked, using a tool(Glary Utilities) to check my space allocation. I have found that my my windows folder makes up 76.0% of the space. Out of the total HD space, .dll files make up 39.9% of the space that is 2.70GB. My total space for C is just around 5GB. My total hard disk 20 GB. I partitioned it to C: and D: drive with 5GB and 15GB. My D: drive seems to be okay it is just my C: that seems to be filing up on its own. I tried to locate what type of files and which files are increasing but with the current tool I am not able to do this. I am attaching a screenshot of the disk space usage test outcome. Can you please help me to stop my pc space from decreasing.
Other infos:I am using Windows XP,MSOffice
Thanking in advance.
