Now the only error left is:

"The attempt to install printer Fax into an offline operating system image failed with Win32 error code 87 (0x57). This can occur if the printer driver requires user input or displays a user interface (UI) during installation."

But I don't have a printer attached to the computer...

not sure as to why it would be looking to install a printer on a offline server /computer ,i would look at ,start /devices and printers ,and see what in there maybe a fax printer checked off that shouldn't be ,would also look in start/all programs , and look in the startup fiolder ,see if it getting called from there

Okay I seem to have fixed all but one problem now.

When I first boot up, if I put any load on the CPU it'll freeze for about 5-10 mins.

The only error showing in the event viewer is event 359... Where it's trying to install the none existent printer again.

But other than that the kinks seem to be worked out.

Okay make that 2, Firefox stops responding then takes every thing with it for a few mins too. And no error to at the corresponding time.

_____________________________________________

Update: It appears that after the system has been running for 30 mins to an hour it levels out and stops freezing.

not sure where its trying to install the printer from ,but what i find is info releated to that error in server 2008 releated .http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd393209(WS.10).aspxserver

we could use hijackthis program to see if there is any reference to it .
do not use hijackthis to fix anything ,just use it for reference only ,do a scan save the log and post it here .

Sorry for not posting for a while.

Finally tracked down what was causing it today...

It was a faulty HDD :)

Time to ship it off for a new one.

Thanks for all your help!
