Hi there,

I have a court transcript to type, with a gazillion lawyers. I created macros and assigned shortcuts. However, the strangest thing happens: every once in a while, if I do a hard return and try to type whatever in caps and bold... then my macro shortcuts no longer work... and I have to start all over again...

Until now, all I had to do was go into word options and customize to reassign shortcuts, but this last time, even that won't work...

I'm very unhappy because it's taking forever to set up and I'm losing a lot of time on this urgent job... :-(

Any ideas???

Update: O.K., I believe I've found the problem... although I can't for the life of me explain why it does this.

If I'm in cap locks, the macro shortcuts don't work. But this goes only for the double-digit shortcuts(i.e. Alt-GA). Single-digit shortcuts (i.e. Alt-Q) work fine, even when I'm in cap locks... go figure...??!!
