I wanted to format my flash drive using HP USB Disk Format Tool. But it said that I didn't have administrative rights to use that program. I looked on the Internet for a way to get the administrative rights and found a way to do it. I went to Computer then C-drive properties then Security, Advanced, Permissions, Edit Permissions, I went to click on allow all but my touch pad sometimes moves the mouse wrong so I ended up clicking on deny all. Now I can't Access the C-drive or many of the programs I have installed (such as Microsoft office). I tried activating the hidden Administrator account but that had all it's permissions taken away too. I tried booting into safe mode but every time I try my computer restarts.

Is there anyway I can get the permissions set back to default?

Try to enable hidden administrator account and see, if you can reverse changes: http://www.howtogeek...-windows-vista/
If successful, re-disable that account, because you don't want to play with it, unless really necessary.

The hidden Administrator account is enabled but all its permissions were taken away also. I managed to disable the UAC but that didn't help any.

I tried that and it didn't work, but thanks for trying to help! But I did figure out how to get the permissions back.
I'm going to explain how to do it incase anyone else has the same problem.

First go to http://forum.thewind...rs-windows.html

That wiil tell you how to set ownership of the C-Drive.
After you set owner ship right click on the C-Drive Properties\Security\Advanced\Permissions then click on Users([name of computer]/Users). Then click on change permissions and than click on full control. You should get some errors but just ignore those and click Continue.
