Hi,

I had to download a bunch of sample toolbars to evaluate some outsourced development resources, but I ended up with a bunch of viruses. I followed the removal guide provided in the forum and successfully removed a bunch of adware and viruses, including trojans.

However, now no matter what I am doing, my computer just starting "thinking" and then locks up. I can't open task manager and eventually can't even move the mouse around. Whatever application I am using freezes and then takes down my entire computer. I am then forced to shut down my computer using the power button and restart it. Sometimes it runs checkdisk and fixes some files in the indexes. But the problem never really goes away.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michael
