As the Title topic says, I have no audio and video plays super fast. I have checked sound and devices settings and XP says all is well. I recently installed a 1000MBPS ethernet card and had to uninstall then reinstall the software to get to work properly. I also fund Spyware Terminator software to keep out any malware, etc.

Anyway, after attempting 3 times to correctly install the ethernet card now my audio is silent and video plays back super fast. From what I know the video is timed with the audio, so when there is no audio the video will plays back super fast.

Realizing this I downloaded a DirectX update (which apparently I really needed) and nothing occurred. Any directions or ideas help.

PS. iTunes also plays back super fast with no audio.

Thanks!
