I feel like an idiot. I've been on a mission to remove malware - following the directions.

After days of fiddling, I still could not boot into safemode - normal windows only. Went into to MSconfig and clicked the safeboot option in boot.ini and now...I am trapped in the endless loop of safeboot option screen/blue screen/reboot/ad infinitum. How can I get back in to correct the problem with the boot ini.? Any recommendations? I do not have a boot cd/ or windows recovery console or the original windows cd. Is there a generic boot cd out there on the market that someone recommends? Thank you. Lise
