I have an HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop that is running Vista and it will go into a state where it will start the boot up process and then stop and start again. this will go on forever. Ig I hold the power button down it will shut all the way down. I then have to take the battery and the hard drive out and then put them back in. It will then start to work fine for a couple of days and then the same thing happens again. I wish I could pinpoint exactly what is happening when it happens.

Any Suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

crock
