I recently reformatted windows xp and am having a problem with my cdrw drive it wont reconize or play,or burn cds, in the device manager it says its working properly.

cdrw is a qps crd-bp1500p


i was assuming this is a driver issue problem is i cant find the driver disc is there somewherew i can find a compatable driver,i have looked but nothing yet

was trying to avoid sp2 since it has seem to mess up microsoft outlook in the past, is there a way around it screwing with outlook....not outlook express

ok installed xp service pak 2 .....still not reconizing cds
