My friend has commended into my care his dirt old Toshiba A105-S4021. It's running Windows XP, but barely. Nothing can be done in normal mode, but Safe Mode is accessible, as is Safe Mode with Networking. I haven't attempted yet to connect it to the internet in safe mode out of fear. I've received help from this forum before with another computer and know the usual drill. Someone get with me and let me know what I should get going on. In the mean time I will try to connect it to the internet in safe mode and download and post the various logs.

Thanks,

Zacj
