Decided to go back to a computer with XP OS from Windows 7 featuring Windows Live Mail. I want to transfer email addresses and folders created in the Windows 7 computer to the XP computer which has Microsoft outlook.

Can't seem to find out how to do that

* Select Options | More options... (or just Options in the Windows Live toolbar.
* Follow the Export contacts link under Customize your contacts.
* Click Export contacts.
Save to flash pen. It will save as a csv file.

You can now import contacts from the "WLMContacts.csv" file into the target application or service.

Windows live mail is a download program so save every thing as per Macboatmaster .
Then install windows live after XP is up and running and then import the files/addresses.
