The brightness menu for the monitor on my Dell 5000 desktop keeps popping up unasked. Press exit and after a few seconds it's back. Can't get rid of it. Is this a hardware problem or is it caused by a virus? Got no idea. Just started a few days ago. Tho computer's a few years old now and never done anything like this before.
Thanks.

it's a hardware issue...the actuall button might be stuck, or there might be a short in the controller that the button connects to
