I have just installed MS Business Contact Manager 2003 for the first time. I run MS Office 2003 but had never installed that bit of the software previously.
Imediately I tried to open Outlook after installing BCM, I got an error message "A serious error has occured and the programme must shut down, sorry for any inconvenience" On digging around, I also got an error message whilst in Outlook which refered me to sending an error report to Microsoft also.
I couldn't use Outlook at all as the message apperared each time I opened the programme and I never got anywhere close to openning BCM although the tour guide was runnable!
As it stands, I have removed BCM and all has returned back to normal.
I woiuld really like to run BCM but need help.

If there are better free BCM programmes available that work with Outlook I am hapy to try these instead.
I use Mozilla Firefox 3.6, Office 2003, Windows XP Professional SP.

Any help would be appreciated. (I am not a computer boffin so need to keep replies fairly simple please)
