Hello, I am fairly new to the Windows OS, but as a distance learning student I needed to have a version of windows to be compatible with my school. I have done all of the required checks and downloaded and ran all of the suggested software. Ad-Aware SE, I already use Spybot S&D, I ran CleanUp, Downloaded and now run AVG Free edition Antivirus and I also use Zone Alarm w/ Antivirus. Here is my log from Hijack This. Please help as I am unfimalliar with the windows registry. I have also updated Internet Explorer to IE6, but I normally run Mozilla or Opera to browse the web.

Are you having any problems in particular? I don't see anything wrong here.

Your log is clean.

Make sure to get the latest updates for Windows and Internet Explorer at http://v5.windowsupd...t.aspx?ln=en-us.

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial and use the tools provided.

Are there any problems now? If not, you should be set to go.

Actually I'm no longer having problems. I just posted this log so an "expert" could look them over as I am fairly new to the windows operating system. I just wanted to be sure I need this widows box for an online school I'm attending. thank you though for letting me know.
