aurora is driving me nuts [CLOSED]

i have run spyware and virus scans which are supposed to be fully updated, but i still continually get aurora popups through internet explorer even though i use firefox as my browser. in addition, every time i start windows, an msdos prompt appears that says "taskkill" is not a valid....something (oops-im not sure of the exact wording). this doesnt sound good! then a ie error report box comes up and says that "aimerrs.exe" has encountered a problem and must close, but i have no idea what that program is! this all happened after my brother clicked on some link on someones aim window i think.... please help!!!
